Mark Wills - Familiar Stranger

No-brainer Kid Rock scoorde een wereldwijde hit met dit soort nostalgie, maar had daar wel Lynyrd Skynyrd's “Sweet Home Alabama” voor nodig. Mark Wills doet het op eigen kracht. Nu ja, niet dat hij de liedjes op Familiar Stranger zelf schreef of dat er ook maar een noot origineel en zelfgevonden is. Alle stoere-jongen-klein-hartje redneckcliché’s komen voorbij, maar wel met meer overtuigingskracht dan Kid Rock ooit gehad heeft.
