Sound of the Beast: The Complete Headbanging History of Heavy Metal by Ian Christe.
As when the Beatles called it a day, Ozzy split apart the Sab Four having programmed the instructional code for a newmusical protocol. Even while temporarily out of commission, Black Sabbath continued to influence the younger generation from across an ocean. As it turned out, heavy metal would repeatedly prove to be best inspired from a distance - where strong impressions, memories, and images were encouraged to run amok in the imagination. Ultimately, as succesive waves of bands emerged to interpret Sabbath's pioneering ideas, the succes and excess of all other 1970's hard rock supergroups would pale in comparison.
Het boek verschijnt in april 2003, gaat EUR 33.20 kosten en het ISBN is 006052362x.
