nieuwste, Murray Street, zal 25 juni in de VS uitkomen. Het wordt de tweede plaat in de trilogie over Lower Manhatten, waarvan NYC Ghosts & Flowers de eerste was. Het is het eerste album met Jim O'Rourke als officieel bandlid.

Voornaamste vraag: waarom ben ik niet meer zo benieuwd naar een nieuwe plaat van Sonic Youth als vroeger? Kwestie van been there, seen this, done that? Is Sonic Youth gewoon niet meer zo'n spannende band? Tenslotte heb ik NYC Ghosts & Flowers en A Thousand Leaves samen sinds hun uitkomen niet zo vaak gedraaid als bijvoorbeeld Daydream Nation.
