The Covers Project
is "a database of cover songs (songs performed by an artist other than the original performer) with the intention of creating cover "chains." A cover chain is a set of songs in which each song is a cover of a song by the band who covered the preceding song."
Dat klinkt ingewikkelder dan het is. Je krijgt dus dit soort opsommingen:

"The Young Marble Giants song "The Man Amplifier" was covered by Magnetic Fields
The Magnetic Fields song "Famous" was covered by White Town
The White Town song "Your Woman" was covered by Custard
The Custard song "Pinball Lez" was covered by Funkmeister G."
